The Pomodoro Technique

How can a 🍅 help you focus? Well, a tomato (pomodoro) timer to be specific. In the 1980s Francesco Cirillo started to use a tomato-shaped cooking timer to increase his focus and went on to invent The Pomodoro Technique.

As shown above the technique is simple:

  1. Select a task or some work to focus on.
  2. Set a timer and focus for 25 minutes.
  3. Rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Once you're repeated this 4 times take a longer break.
